Black Desert Online, the popular MMORPG from developer Pearl Abyss, is offering up their game completely free starting now through March 2 at 10:00 A.M. You’ll be free to keep and play it it. The service of Black Desert Online will be transferred from Kakao Games to Pearl Abyss on February 24. To retain access to your account, you will need to go through an Account Transfer Registration. Black Desert Online is a sandbox, living-world MMORPG. Enjoy fast-paced, action-packed combat, hunt monsters and huge bosses, fight with friends in a guild to siege nodes and region castles, train your life skills such as fishing, trading, crafting, cooking, and much more.

Black Desert Online resetting desktop resolution due to downsampling[edit]
- Go to in-game settings
- Go to 'Display Settings'
- Under 'Game Window' you will select your desire resolution under 'Screen Resolution Scaling' that matches your desktop resolution
Misaligned mouse cursor[edit]
- Go to
<path-to-game>bin if you're using the 32-bit client or <path-to-game>bin64 if you're using the 64-bit client - Right click on BlackDesert32.exe (32-bit) or BlackDesert64.exe (64-bit) and select Properties
- Under Properties you want to go to the Compatibility tab then go to 'Change high DPI settings'
- Under 'Change high DPI settings' you want to put a checkmark on 'Override high DPI scaling behavior and then set 'Scaling performed by:' to 'Application'
