'John Dieterich & Jeremy Barnes began 'The Coral Casino' as an attempt to understand one another. They met one day and the next they were in a blank room with unfamiliar instruments in their hands and zero expectations, each agreeing to do his utmost to ignore the other. Yes, their first forays into musical collaboration began with the stipulation that each had to improvise in a rhythmic. Built in 1937, the Coral Casino is an exclusive private membership social club that has been the backdrop of countless society eve.

Take a dip in one of the largest hotel swimming pools in the world – or just sunbathe beside it, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands from the second-storey, peninsula sundeck. Sip a cocktail up in the Crow’s Nest, enjoy a soak in the oceanfront whirlpool, then walk down to Butterfly Beach through the Club’s private, gated stairway to the sand.
Floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the pool deck provide panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean beyond from the Club’s spacious Fitness Centre, while separate locker facilities feature spa areas with stone-clad steam rooms and red-cedar saunas perfect for post-workout relaxation. Need a little pick-me-up? The fresh fruit and juice are on us.
The Coral Casino offers a variety of morning yoga classes throughout the week. Sessions range from active and aerobic to relaxing and restorative, focusing on meditation and breathing exercises. Pre-registration is encouraged; space is limited to 10 people per class.
Aqua aerobics classes are offered at the Coral Casino pool on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. All classes are one hour and vary from an intense, low-impact workout to a slower-paced workout that incorporates weight resistance.
Harness the power of guided meditation in this relaxing complimentary class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Each class is one hour and includes endurance strengthening and stroke enhancement.
You’re On the List
Overnight guests staying at the Resort in a Jungle room or higher category get complimentary access to the Coral Casino. Other guests may enjoy access with a daily fee of USD 200 per room. All guests of the Resort get access to Tydes restaurant for lunch and dinner, without an access fee.
